The following screen captures will take you through the steps required to setup a properly layed out print file in Quark.
Choose the proper template from our website. If you are not sure as to which template you should use, feel free to contact one of our sales representatives at 416-654-8008 Ext.(???) for information.
Choose the “rectangle picture box tool” on your tool bar to create a box that is lined up to the size needed. In this case it is 4.75” x 4.724”.

Once you have placed the image into the picture box it should be lined up to however you would like it to appear. This is how the file will look once it is printed.

Select the “content tool”. Extend the image box only to the outer dotted lines of the template. This is done to ensure no white will show on the edges once the dieline is cut.
The inner most dotted line is for a type safety. This is just as important as creating a bleed. The type safety is to prevent clipping of any copy that may be on your image. All copy should be kept within this area.
